3.6L V6 24V VVT Pentastar Engine with Stop/Start.


The award-winning 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine provides excellent horsepower and torque and features dual overhead camshafts, high-flow intake and exhaust ports, Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Throttle Control as well as Engine Stop/Start (ESS) technology. When the vehicle brakes to a stop, fuel flow is cut and the engine turns off. When the brake pedal is released, the engine automatically restarts and the eight-speed automatic transmission is engaged. You can deactivate ESS with the push of a button.

8-Speed Automatic 850RE Transmission


This eight-speed automatic transmission provides full-throttle launches, quick upshifts and responsive downshifts. It includes Adaptive Electronic Control, a torque converter lock with turbine torsional damper for low lock-up speeds in first through eighth gear and two overdrive gears for efficiency.
